Most people prefer forums to “find answers”, accrding to google search more than 120 million people search this per month, where as blogs are just over 100 million per month. Forums are a treasure trove of invaluable insights.

I prefer forums too. They are designed to be used for discussion. So if someone needs help is a better way to ask it rather than blogs. Blogs are basically to post some opinions on an issue.

I personally prefer forums because blogs are desinged to be more personal where each person can address to many people about his personal views
Forums are totally different! In forums advanced programmers for example can view your issue and have the right to resolve if they like.
Two different ideas therefore i believe….

Independence what you are looking for. If you want just read, or just publish – than Blogs. If you need someone help to solve your difficulty – than forum, where you can to discuss and get help at your project.

Both are very handy. But then, it depends on the topic and the desired depth of info required. If I were to suggest, I would say to follow some blogs (in order to stay up to date with new trends and evolutions) and register to some forums for deeper analysis in particular subjects.
